We can’t believe it… The dental mission part of our trip is over!

It’s sad, but we are exhausted. So there are mixed emotions as we leave! There were many tears as we loaded up the bus! Three hours on this bus should get us to a small town outside of Trujillo, where we hope to eat lunch. Then on to Trjlujillo, and fly to Lima.

While in Cascas, we saw over 500 dental patients, and performed over 1,700 procedures. We only had one team member get sick, and he is better now. This evening at Lima, we will split in different directions; some are headed straight home, and should arrive by Friday evening. Some are heading for the beach for a couple days, some off to experience Machu Picchu. A few of us are headed for the mighty Amazon river, hoping to see some exotic animal life. We have had an awesome time…

And the adventure continues!
